Federation of Mountain Clubs of BC

The FMCBC works to protect and maintain access to backcountry areas for quality, non-motorized recreation in BC. As an Associate Memeber, BC Whitewater works with the FMCBC to further our mission of advocating for publically accessible, free flowing whitewater rivers in British Columbia.

Mamquam River Access Society

Dedicated to the Mamquam River in Squamish, MRAS has spearheaded the establishment and maintanence of many access point along the Mamquam, including the kayak site and the Mamquam River Campground. BC Whitewater is working closely with MRAS in fighting for continued access to Mamquam Falls should the development of a tourist attraction there proceed.
